A Refreshing Gluten-Free Ramen Perfect for Hot Summer Days

I tried Kenmin’s “GF RAMEN LAB Gluten-Free Soy Sauce Ramen.”
GF RAMEN LAB is a gluten-free ramen developed jointly by Kenmin Foods and Masuo Onishi, who runs the ramen restaurant TSURUMEN in Boston, USA.It was created by combining Onishi’s experience introducing authentic Japanese ramen overseas with Kenmin Foods’ expertise in rice noodle technology.
GF RAMEN LAB comes in two varieties:Soy sauce ramen with a fragrant Japanese-style broth made with bonito and kombu (kelp) dashi Plant-based tonkotsu-style ramen made without animal-derived ingredients, using soy milk and kombu as the base. This time, I tried the soy sauce ramen.
The thin noodles pair beautifully with the light Japanese-style soy sauce broth, creating a smooth and easy-to-eat bowl of ramen. Personally, I prefer noodles with a slightly firmer texture, so I cooked the noodles about 30 seconds less than the recommended time. The texture turned out just right.
One of the best things about this ramen is how convenient it is—you can enjoy a bowl of ramen in about 6 minutes whenever you crave it. It is perfect for a quick lunch on a busy day or when you want to prepare an easy meal for your family.
With a long shelf life of 12 months from the manufacturing date, it is also great for keeping as a regular pantry item or as an emergency food supply.
