Located just a 4-minute walk from Kamakura Station, Purvis Donuts specializes in donuts made with 100% domestically produced Japanese rice flour.
These charming donuts have a delightfully rustic, slightly imperfect shape that makes them even more appealing. One bite reveals a gentle sweetness that feels comforting and satisfying. Best of all, they're reasonably priced.
I stopped by soon after the shop opened and couldn't resist trying every flavor. Each one was absolutely delicious, and the colorful, charming appearance made the donuts just as enjoyable to look at as they were to eat.
They're the kind of donuts that make you want to come back for more, no matter how far you have to travel.
If you find yourself in Kamakura, this donut shop is definitely worth a visit.
