Located about a 10-minute walk from Joshin Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Tsurumai Line, “Michinori Bento” is a bento specialty shop operated by the gluten-free Japanese restaurant “Michinori-tei.”
The bento boxes feature a variety of traditional Japanese dishes, such as grilled fish and fried chicken. All items are prepared gluten-free, including the soy sauce and the batter used for the fried chicken.
Not only the main dishes, but also the side dishes and rolled omelet are carefully prepared with great attention to detail. I found every item to be delicious. It was such an enjoyable experience that my family and I found ourselves looking at each other and saying, “I’ve never had a bento that was this enjoyable before.”
It’s wonderful that people with food allergies and those without them can enjoy a delicious bento together in the park.
This kind of experience is what makes this bento so special.
You can reserve your bento by phone in advance, allowing you to pick it up without waiting. On a sunny day, it’s a wonderful idea to take it to nearby Meijo Park and enjoy a relaxing picnic together.
**If you reserve your bento by phone in advance, you can pick it up without having to wait.
**Please note: If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please check with the restaurant in advance, including the possibility of cross-contact.
In addition to Michinori Bento, Michinori-tei operates Michinori-tei Nagoya Ekimae, about a 3-minute walk from Nagoya Station, Michinori-tei Izumi, and an online shop where you can purchase items such as fried chicken.
