Located just a few minutes' walk from Asakusa Station, Fleur de Sarrasin specializes in galettes made with 100% Japanese buckwheat flour and French-style cider.
The buckwheat flour is stone-ground in-house every morning, and each galette is carefully prepared and cooked to order.
Made with 100% buckwheat flour (gluten-free), the galettes are a popular choice, and the restaurant was busy with many customers during my visit.
The beautifully rolled galette is almost too pretty to eat.
One bite is enough to put a smile on your face.
Made with buckwheat sourced from across Japan and served with chopsticks, it offers a uniquely Japanese way to enjoy this classic French dish.
If you're visiting Asakusa, it's well worth a stop.
