東京グルテンフリーレストラン Oh!nanaのランチメニュー 生生姜おろしのポークジンジャー【東京・神田】
Fresh Ginger Pork Rice Bowl

Oh Nana!, located just a 4-minute walk from Kanda Station, is a gluten-free restaurant that does not use wheat in any of its ingredients, including seasonings such as soy sauce.
It is conveniently located in central Tokyo, with easy access to popular areas such as Shinjuku, Ginza, Ueno, and Asakusa, making it a nice place to stop for lunch while sightseeing.

I heard that the owner started this restaurant after being diagnosed with celiac disease. However, even without considering the fact that it is gluten-free, Oh Nana! is simply a great restaurant with delicious food.

When I visited, the customers were a mix of international visitors and Japanese guests, with about half of each. The menu mainly focuses on Japanese cuisine, but during lunchtime you can also enjoy dishes such as curry and rice bowls.

▼What we ordered (for two people)

・Chicken gyoza
・Fresh Ginger Pork Rice Bowl
・Salted Lemon Chinjao Rosu Rice Bowl

The meals come with small side dishes and pickles, and you can really feel the care put into each dish. The soup has a rich bonito broth flavor, and the chicken gyoza had a nicely crispy skin.

The flavors are generally on the stronger side, so ordering a larger portion of rice with the rice bowl dishes may be a good choice if you are looking for a filling meal. Dessert can also be added for an extra 100 yen. I would like to try some of the other menu items on my next visit.

Oh Nana! also sells gluten-free snacks, Japanese tableware, chopsticks, and other souvenirs. One item that caught my attention was a small fish-shaped soy sauce bottle, which comes with gluten-free soy sauce inside.

Having gluten-free soy sauce with you while traveling in Japan can be helpful when enjoying dishes like sashimi or seafood rice bowls. Since many soy sauces in Japan contain wheat, having an option like this can be useful for travelers following a gluten-free diet.

Oh Nana!’s dishes are also prepared with consideration for low-FODMAP diets, using little to no garlic, onions, soy milk, dairy products, or nuts. Guests can also discuss allergies with the restaurant in advance, making it a convenient option for people with dietary restrictions.

The restaurant also appears to offer tours for international visitors, where guests can learn about gluten-free options in Japan and how to choose gluten-free foods while traveling.
