About Gluten Free Japan

This is a personal blog called Gluten Free Japan, maintained by an individual living a gluten-free lifestyle due to IBS and several food allergies, together with their family, and serving as a personal record of gluten-free restaurants, ingredients, and related information.

In practice, it is difficult to ensure a completely gluten-free environment, and we take into consideration factors such as trace amounts of soy sauce and potential cross-contamination during food preparation.

**As a result, some of the restaurants and products featured may not be fully gluten-free, and some may simply be wheat-free. Individuals with celiac disease or severe wheat allergies should always confirm details directly with each restaurant or manufacturer before consumption.

This blog records gluten-free restaurants that I have tried and enjoyed, as well as ingredients I regularly use, as a personal memo. However, since I cannot eat large amounts at once, updates are quite slow. (My average capacity at Sushiro is about three plates, so the update speed is roughly that slow as well.)

For some shops, images may not be available as they have not yet been visited, are still awaiting updates, or were not photographed during previous visits.
