POOL SIDE COFFEE is a cozy café located about a 5-minute walk from Zushi-Hayama Station. It is well known for its delicious gluten-free cream puffs and cakes.

The café has a stylish all-white exterior, and although the space inside is small, it is usually busy with customers.
On weekends, there is often a line outside, so visiting on a weekday afternoon is recommended if you prefer a quieter experience.
Just inside the entrance, you'll find beautifully displayed sweets arranged like jewels in a showcase.
Gluten-free items are clearly labeled "GLUTEN FREE," and several vegan cakes are also available.
During my visit, I took away a pistachio cream puff and a lemon cake. The cream puff had a crisp pastry shell filled with a light, mildly sweet pistachio cream.
It was surprisingly large, but so delicious that I finished it in no time. After the first bite, I couldn't help smiling and thinking, "Wow, this is amazing."
I visited on a weekend and couldn't get a table, so I'd like to come back on a weekday next time.
About a 4-minute walk from the café is its sister restaurant, POOL SIDE DINER, which was also attracting a long line of customers. If you're visiting Zushi or Hayama, it's worth stopping by there as well. The restaurant is only a 1–2 minute walk from Zushi-Hayama Station.

**Please note: If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please check with the restaurant in advance, including the possibility of cross-contact.
