I suddenly found myself craving tacos, so I made my way to Fukaya City, Saitama. KITADE TACOS is located in FOOD LODGE, the food court inside the outlet mall. The restaurant is at booth No. 7, right in the center of the food court.
The bright yellow sign makes the restaurant easy to spot.
You can either place your order directly at the counter, or scan the QR code for the FOOD LODGE at Fukaya-Hanazono Premium Outlets, which is available in the food court area and on the tables. From the website, select “KITADE TACOS,” choose your menu, and pay online.
When your order is ready, you will receive an SMS notification on your smartphone. You can then go to the counter to pick it up.
There were so many tempting options on the menu that it took me quite a while to decide. This time, I ordered the “2 Tacos (Chicken & Pork) with Taco Rice” and “3 Tacos (Chicken, Pork & Beef) with Chips.”
One thing I particularly like about KITADE TACOS is that the tacos are relatively small, making it easy to try a variety of menu items. This works especially well for my family, as we are not big eaters. It is also nice that we can each order something different and share everything.
Both of the meals we ordered allowed us to enjoy several of KITADE TACOS’ staple fillings in one meal, including Chicken Tinga (shredded chicken simmered in tomato sauce), Pork Carnitas (tender, slow-cooked pork), and Beef Suadero (slow-cooked beef). They made for a satisfying meal with a good variety of flavors.
Even on hot days when you don't have much of an appetite, the aroma of tacos can be quite appetizing.
